COMPETENCY BASED ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (CBOP) – PBAPP

  • 10-day Orientation programme developed for new technical personnel. This programme equips new hires with the basic skills required to enable them to perform their job efficiently.
  • To promote high standards of engineering practices in two critical engineering departments, namely Production and Operation.
  • Upon completion of the 10-days training programme, the participant will be assessed and certified by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) before being awarded the Certificate of Competency (COC).
  • 2 courses are offered for Level 1 and Level 2.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY COURSES (SPAN)

  • 10-days Technical Competency Course for technical personnel. The programmes create opportunities for waterworks personnel to obtain a recognised and accredited Competency Certificate by SPAN.
  • Develop occupational competency in a wide range of job roles in the water industry.
  • Produces a skilled worker, trained and qualified for the water industry.
  • Upon completion of the 10-days training programme, the participant will be assessed and certified by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) before being awarded the Certificate of Competency (COC).
  • 2 courses are offered for Level 1 and Level 2.

 

 

MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (SKM)

  • An integrated curriculum developed based on the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS).
  • The programme is conducted based on a structured training pathway, with greater emphasis on practical and hands-on exercises.
  • Every candidate will be assessed and certified to meet the requirements of NOSS before being awarded the Malaysian Skills Certificate by the Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resource, Malaysia.
  • 3 courses are offered for Level 1 to Level 3
